Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is looking for an Aviation Recruiter.
Position Purpose:
This position will assist the high-volume recruitment process by developing, implementing and maintaining a creative recruiting strategy for the business to bring in applicants through existing and new sources in order to provide an effective pool of candidates. Additionally, this position will grow the recruiting department by sourcing potential employers to grow clientele.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Facilitates/implements staffing process with clients and applicants while complying with regulations.
- As a team, works to identify and evaluate qualified candidates to present to clients for review.
- This role will focus on the recruitment of all positions for current and future clients.
- Ability to form business partnerships with clients and serve as a point of contact for the staffing process.
- Responsible for sourcing requisitions appropriately for assigned positions.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining relationship with applicants throughout the staffing process.
- Ability to conduct candidate interviews with hiring team.
- May participate with onboarding of new hires.
Additional Functions:
- May assist with external recruiting events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
As an ideal candidate to join the AVTECH team, you will meet the following:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- 2 years minimum of experience with progressing responsibility.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and/or candidates.
- Knowledge of compliance issues.
- Knowledge of employment law.
- Proficient in internet/computer skills.
- Travel may be required.
Required Unique Skills:
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal skills, and written skills.
- Experience in aerospace/aviation industry.
- Experience sourcing candidates.
- Knowledge of an applicant tracking system.
Compensation will be determined based upon experience, qualifications, etc.
